Qualifications required
** Applicants who are currently enrolled in an Integrated Course or Dual Degree program of BE/B.Tech and pursuing MTech are eligible to apply for the position. However, they must meet the following criteria: they should have appeared in the GATE – 2023 examination in the relevant discipline as mentioned in paragraph 1.2 of this advertisement, and they must have successfully completed their B.Tech./BE degree in one of the mentioned disciplines. It is important to note that if selected for a position at Indian Oil, such candidates must possess both their BE/B.Tech and ME/MTech degrees by September 30th, 2023. **
Age Limit : The upper age limit is 26 years (General), 29 years (NC-OBC), 31 years (SC/ST) and add 10 years extra for PwBD for each category. It will be decided on the basis of June 30, 3023.
Package (CTC) : The CTC will be varying from position to position. The candidates selected as engineers and officers will have a CTC of Rs. 16.8 Lacs. Candidates who are selected as Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs) will receive a fixed monthly stipend of Rs. 60,000 throughout the duration of their apprenticeship.
Selection process includes
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE-2023 marks.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interview, group discussion (GD) and group task (GT).
The candidate have to qualify in all type of tasks individually. Final merit list will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in individual steps of the selection process including GATE-2023 marks, interview, GD and GT.
