A Comprehensive Guide: GATE 2024

Graduates and final year candidates can also submit the GATE 2024 application form before the last date.

Eligibility Criteria
Aspiring candidates who are currently enrolled in their 3rd year or beyond of an undergraduate degree program, or have successfully graduated from a government-approved degree course in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, or Humanities, hold the eligibility to participate in the GATE 2024 examination.
Documents Required for Filling Online Application Form
A high-quality photograph of the candidate, adhering to the specifications outlined in the Information Brochure.
A high-quality signature image of the candidate, following the requirements specified in the Information Brochure.
If applicable, a scanned PDF copy of the Category (SC/ST) certificate.
If applicable, a scanned PDF copy of the PwD Certificate.
If applicable, a scanned PDF copy of the Certificate of Dyslexia.
A scanned PDF copy of a valid photo Identity document, such as Aadhar-UID (preferred), Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License. The chosen photo ID should display the candidate's Name, Date of Birth, and a unique photo ID number. This original photo ID must be presented for verification at the examination hall.

GATE Papers
The examination papers will be presented in the English language. Every GATE 2024 paper is designed for a total of 100 marks, with a shared General Aptitude (GA) section accounting for 15 marks across all papers. The remaining 85 marks are dedicated to assessing the content outlined in the specific test paper syllabus.
