What is the difference between Molarity, molality and normality?
Thankyou.
In my opinion;
Steady state: When the parameters (variables like speed , concentration) of a process doesn't change with time but the reaction keeps going on, then its a steady state condition. For example, flow of water in river. So,
Rate of input = rate of output
It occurs in open systems.
There is a net reaction.
Entropy will continuously increase.
Equilibrium state: A condition when the concentration of reactants and products will not change with time i.e.
Rate of forward reaction = Rate of backward reaction
It occurs in closed systems.
There is no net reaction, i.e., the reactions are reversible.
Entropy will remain constant @ equilibrium.
